Just so you know, I am on hols from Friday (tomorrow) mid-afternoon until 5
August, so if anything needs to change regarding Monday's meeting, it is going to
be rather difficult to achieve. I think what I ought to do is double-check with you
tomorrow that all details are OK, then I shall have to keep my fingers crossed. I will
let James have your contact details, in case he needs to rejig arrangements.

T hope all is well with you. Further to our meeting last week, James would be
grateful if the proposed meeting with Paula and Alwen that was mooted then takes
place next Monday from 2-3pm. He would like to have Ian Henderson along as well,
to wrap up some details about what is to be delivered in October to the MPs.
He is relaxed about where the meeting would take place — at Old Street or here at
Portcullis House. Might you suggest what works best for you?

2. Summer recess
House rises 18 July, resumes 2 September
During this period, James is generally not available at all.
I am away from 19 July until 2 August — but I will be picking up emails, my
colleagues will be picking up phone messages.
3. Conference recess
House rises 13 September, resumes 8 October
These dates are simply for you to bear in mind at this stage. If we need meetings or
scheduled phone calls involving James, please book these as soon as their need
becomes apparent via me. The diary is absurdly full already, but he will make room
for you wherever possible.
