Hi Graham,
As far as I am aware no repayment of the outstanding loss has been made by Ms Hamilton. Certainly,
no monies have been received at this Office. I have spoken to Juliet McFarlane about this and the
position is that the theft charge can still be proceeded with in the event the monies aren't repaid before
sentence. Alternatively, we could seek both compensation and confiscation in relation to the basis of
her plea as she appears to accept responsibility for the loss.
If the Court proceed to sentence on Monday the Prosecution costs amount to £3639.14 and this sum
should be added to your costs. Phil Taylor of this Office is hoping to attend Court for the sentence
hearing.
