Dear Sir/Madam

Re: Confiscation order for £40,000.00 dated 8" July 2011
HM Courts & Tribunals Ref no.:- SURREY/CONF/11001594G

With regard to the above Confiscation Order for a sum of £40,000, I am writing to submit to the
Court that I am unable to pay the entirety of the requested sum.

Please see attached a letter from The Woolwich, which: demonstrates that, having repossessed the

!, an offer of £152,000 has been accepted __
y the er of the mortgage on this
property is £130,063.21 and as such, the remaining balance will only amount to £21,936.79. In
addition to the Confiscation Order, I am also owing HM Revenue and Customs £12,003.78 and so the
final sum I would be able to repay towards the Confiscation Order, having sold my only asset, is

£9,933.01.

At present I am unemployed with 2 dependent children under 18 years old. I have difficulty paying
my rent so have been assessed as entitled to the maximum level of housing benefit from Woking
Borough Council, see attached. in addition I am in receipt of the higher rate of child tax credit and
working tax credit.

1am very disappointed to not be able to fully pay the amount of the Order, and I have done
everything in my power to achieve as much money from the sale of the property, but once it was
repossessed I no longer had control over the amount of money accepted by the Woolwich.
Unfortunately my means are insufficient and I do not have any other assets.

I would appreciate that consideration be given to my circumstances and my efforts to repay this sum
and should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

: GRO I
