This statement (consisting of I pages each signed by me) is true to the best of my knowledge and belief
and I make it knowing that, if it is tendered in evidence, I shall be liable to prosecution if I have wilfully
stated in it anything, which I know to be false or do not believe true.

Further to my statement dated 21% March 2012. I can confirm that my enquiries preceded
being contacted by Anne NIELD on 5” January 2012.
Just before Christmas 2014 around the 22™ December 2011 I was contacted by a member
of the Post Office Security team informing me that there was a potential problem regarding
missing / delayed Giro deposits at Fazakerley Post Office branch.
I contacted Santander and received on 4 January 2012 a list of late payments (now
exhibited as CWD/1) and outstanding deposits (now exhibited as CWD/2). These had been
despatched on 3 January 2012.
I now produce exhibit SB/51 a copy of the Post Office Ltd Discipline Managers summary of
Mr ASKER's suspension and reinstatement at Fazakerley and Tower Hill Post Office
