Hi Rachael,

Ihave received a letter from the Defendant's solicitors. They do not agree Gareth Jenkin's statement
and in those circumstances require him to attend and give oral evidence. The trial as you know is
currently listed at Bradford on 25th Feb with a time estimate of 3 days. There is a chance it could go
off, however, as the defendant's solicitors are grumbling about disclosure and the lack of information
on the disc prepared for them by Steve B. They have asked the court to list the case for an
"intervention hearing" and the provional date for that is the 5th February 2013.

As it remains sensible for all contact with Gareth to be conducted through one person, could ask you
please to liaise with Gareth and let him know that as things stand he will be required to attend and
give evidence. It may also be worth asking him if there are any dates to avoid in case the trial is
relisted.
