Hi Steve
Having read the joint expert report that both Gareth and the defence expert have compiled, it seems
that both agree that large reversals have been made, and there is no cash exchange that triggers or
corresponds with the reversal. Both agree on that point. However, what concerns me is that the
defence expert then goes on to say that despite making requests, she has never received confirmation
of how much physical cash was counted on the day that the audit took place.
I've scanned over the exhibits and statements but cannot find if it has been confirmed anywhere. Do
you know if either Kath or the auditor knew, having counted the cash, how much cash was
present? I'm sure it was counted as Ishaq was asked if he would like to check the amount.
We need to find this out, as I'm sure that the defence will want to expose this point.
