Thanks Brian.

Would it be fair to say that "although the formatting is slightly different from how Anne Chambers
would have seen it because it is extracted from the computer archive, the substance is identical"

1 look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible today.

Stephen (Update from phone call)

As usual nothing is so simple.......I wish it were, and having made a few more enquiries I am
advised of the following;

The assumption is not correct Mr Castleton could not see the data in the format in which Ann viewed it.

When she looked at the event data in 2004, it was held on the live Tivoli database and she would have
viewed it through a web interface to that database. This data is only maintained on this database for
about three weeks, for any older events, the source of data is the Audit servers.

Mr Castleton would only be able to view the data in its raw form as retained on the Audit servers, not in
the manner in which she originally viewed it.

It was in the raw format that she viewed the data (for 1st April 2004 ONLY) in the run up to the trial (data

provided by Penny). From this raw data (which contains events for the whole estate) she then extracted and
viewed those relating to FAD 213337 (his branch) using a text viewer called Textpad.

Hope this is helpful, also file attached.

Yes please Brian.

I want to be able to go back to him and invite him to make an appointment at Fujitsu if he want
so look at how it appeared on screen. I don't anticipate he will do that, but we need to be seen
to being helpful.

Would it be accurate to say that the difference between the spreadsheet you emailed me and
the one Anne read is simply in the formatting?

Stephen
