Case History and Pleas
This case was first listed at West Cheshire Magistrates Court on the 30' of
August 2012, when the defendant gave no indication as to his plea. The case
was then adjourned to the 25 of October 2012 for the preparation of

committal papers.

On the 25' of October 2012 the case was committed under section 6(2) to
Chester Crown Court for a Plea and Case Management Hearing on the 10' of

December 2012.

Bail

The defendant has been granted unconditional bail throughout proceedings

thus far.

Instructions

Counsel is instructed to:

1. Consider and advise on: evidence and in particular whether he considers

any additional evidence is required

2. Appear on behalf of the prosecution at the Plea and Case Management
hearing, and at all future hearings on issues generally and specifically

on prospects of compromises, acquittal and sentence.

3. In the event of a conviction Counsel is requested to seek an order for
the Defendant to pay compensation and a contribution towards the
costs of the prosecution in a sum to be notified to Counsel nearer the

hearing.
