Subject: Spot review workshop

tam planning on holding a workshop to review the 4 spot reviews you have been working on. And need to check your
availability before arranging it.
Please don’t be offended by this, but I feel that although we have done a good job compiling the facts and documenting
them, our responses don’t, in my view, drive home our message in a compelling way - that would persuade MPs or the
media or members of the public that there are no issues (and it looks like there aren’t). I also don’t feel that they are
standalone documents that can be read and understood in isolation of other information (this isn’t criticism of you, as
we did request this)
My thinking is that we use your content and employ someone from the legal profession who is expert at putting
together information to create a compelling case. To do this I would like to run a workshop with the legal advisor to go
through the spot reviews, taken them apart, put the points of our case together, including our weaknesses and ask them
to put the response together for us.
I would like to run the workshop next Wednesday probably 10am-3pm in Old Street. As you two are the key people I
want to check your availability first. Can you both make this time?
