Enclosed is a statement covering Post Office’s approach to ensuring that Horizon was suitable for ite
intended uses and users. I am also copying this to Susanne Helliwell. This is general, rather than
specific to Cleveleys, and in effect is the detail behind some of the assertions in paragraph 5 of my
earlier witness statement (signed on 14/10/2003). As agreed, I haven't attempted to put this into the
format required by the court.
