That’s very sad. Morning really would do - but here’s the last one (which I did and had sent back to him last time) and
also Rodric’s (or Chris’s) in its full new Board format after I’d tinkered with it earlier today. We’re getting rid of paper
numbers and instead having sensible headers and footers, so that was all I did to it.

Re Jarnail’s one — I can see the spelling, formatting etc. Can I see what you do want when it’s done and I'll talk him
through it. I can also get Rodric to give him some pointers. Assume it would ideally be in a similar format to the Civil
one?

V'll talk to him tomorrow — won't take long -unlike Jarnail’s which, I have to say, ranks well down on the scale of
acceptable Board documents in its current form. See attached, just for info (once you have put on your sunglasses). I
think I will just sort that one myself; it will be quicker all round.

I gather Hugh thought that we ought to include employment claims in the significant litigation report and Rodric has
obliged. I agree with the principle but am a little worried by the detail in this report as, clearly, this is sensitive
personal data and I think the Board would prefer to deal at the high level of Company liabilities rather than individual
cases. Do you think it would be acceptable simply to add a bit onto the existing litigation report instead, along the
lines of:
Employment litigation claims in progress: 3. (2 unfair dismissal, 1 sex and race discrimination and victimisation).
Maximum potential liability to Post Office: £175k (or whatever it is — 1 added £100 + £23 + a guess but Rodric would
presumably give me a guesstimate)
Special circumstances: None (ie the claims are not very high profile or break new ground in terms of legal procedure
or policy changes for Post Office).
