Thank you for your letter of 17 April about the independent review by 2" Sight forensic
accountants of a number of individual cases put forward by MPs on behalf of former
subpostmaster constituents who had raised concerns about Post Office Ltd’s (POL)
Horizon system and accounting processes.
I have noted the JFSA’s concerns about the progress and direction of this review but
would suggest that you should follow these up with James Arbuthnot MP in the first
instance. James has most helpfully taken on a co-ordinating and liaison role in
overseeing the conduct of the review by 2nd Sight which is independent both of POL,
whose Horizon system has been questioned in individual cases, and of Government, the
sole shareholder in POL.
