Apologies there has been a bit of a delay due to PAC, it is in box but haven't had a readout from
Sarah, will let you know as soon as she does. She has also asked to have an intro with Henry— do you

With thanks to UKGI and BEIS colleagues for reviewing, please see attached the proposed letter and
annex to be sent from Perm Sec to Henry Staunton upon his formal appointment as Chair of Post
Office Limited on the 1* of December, congratulating him on his appointment and requesting that he
see through the Shareholder’s strategic priorities for 2022/23.
We would be grateful if the Perm Sec could review and sign off on this letter this week so that it can
be sent in conjunction with Henry’s formal start date in this role.
