07 Mar I On the 2"? March 2002 Mrs Oyeteju ADEDAYO
06 appeared at Maidstone for sentencing in respect of her
earlier plea of guilty to three counts of False
Accounting. It was agreed beforehand with Mr T Utting
and Ms Debbie Halszajn that if Mrs ADADAYO did not
make good the Audit Shortage of £52, 864.08 a
confiscation hearing would be applied for.
Consequently a hearing is now listed for week
commencing the 8" May 06. As such a confiscation
Investigation has commenced. The investigation will be
proportionate, have a legal framework, accountable and
necessary. It will follow the legal requirements of the
Proceeds of Crime Act It will also be European
Convention on Human Rights Compliant. Mr T Utting is
my supervising officer and he will be kept aware of the
investigation and where necessary direct the
investigation in accordance with the above legislation.
