Appointment as Joint Trustees in Bankruptcy
We write further to your letters of 21 September 2016, 24 October 2016 and 25 October (concerning:

please could you confirm in respect of each of them
eir assets is a possible cause of action against Post Office and, if so, your intentions in
respect of this asset.
If it is your intention to assign the causes of action back to each of these individuals, please could you set
out the basis on which the trustees consider the assignments are in the best interests of the creditors
generally (with Post Office being the majority creditor) and the other options which have been or will be
considered by the trustees prior to deciding upon assignments (in particular third party funding and/or
ATE insurance, which we understand the bankrupts were able to obtain).
Mr Castleton, Mr Gill and Mr Thomas
In respect of those individuals where you are seeking Post Office's consent to be appointed as joint
trustee in bankruptcy (namely, Mr Castleton, Mr Gill and Mr Thomas), so as Post Office can consider
your and Neil Dingley’s appointment, please could you set out in detail your proposals for administering
these estates, particularly in light of your reference to assigning any causes of action back to the
individual bankrupts.
As above, please could you set out the basis on which each assignment is considered by you as
prospective trustees in bankruptcy as being in the best interests of the creditors generally (with Post
Office being the majority creditor in each case) and the other options which have been or will be
considered prior to deciding upon any assignments (in particular third party funding and/or ATE
insurance, which we understand the bankrupts were able to obtain).
Following a review of the creditors report for! _jestate dated 25 October 2016 we note that the
legal action against the Post Office has been re-assigned t ton a 49/51% basis. Please
could you set out the basis on which this assignment is considered by you as trustees in bankruptcy as

We would be grateful if you would inform us prior to any actions being taken in respect of the above
named bankrupts’ estates. Further, we would be grateful if you would continue to inform us in advance
of any further appointments as trustees in bankruptcy in relation to any postmasters.
