The above named Defendant appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on the 2% March
2006 for Sentence having pleaded Guilty to the 3 charges of false accounting on the
19" January 2006.
Having been committed for Sentence the Court imposed the following sentence:~

CHARGE SENTENCE
1 On the 1% day of June 2005 at Rainham I 50 weeks imprisonment suspended for
Road SPOB dishonestly and with a view to I 24 months with 200 hours unpaid work
gain for yourself or with intent to cause loss
to another falsified a document required for an
accounting purpose namely a Horizon cash
account (final) for cash account week ending
jst June 2005 by making an entry therein
which was misleading, false or deceptive in a
material particular in that it falsely purported to
show that the cash on hand at the end of
the said week was £56,308.94 when the true
figure was a lesser amount (Contrary to
Section 17 (1) (a) of the Theft Act 1968)
2 On the 6" day of July 2005 at Rainham I 50 weeks imprisonment suspended for
Road SPOB dishonestly and with a view to I 24 months with 200 hours unpaid work
gain for yourself or with intent to cause loss I concurrent
to another falsified a document required for an
accounting purpose namely a Horizon cash
account (final) for cash account week ending
6th July 2005 by making an entry therein
which was misleading, false or deceptive in a
material particular in that it falsely purported to
show that the cash on hand at the end of
the said week was £59,907.93 when the true
figure was a lesser amount (Contrary to
Section 17_(1) (a) of the Theft Act 1968)

3 On the 10" day of August 2005 at Rainham
Road SPOB dishonestly and with a view to
gain for yourself or with intent to cause loss
to another falsified a document required for an
accounting purpose namely a Horizon cash
account (final) for cash account week ending
10th August 2005 by making an entry therein
which was misleading, false or deceptive in a
material particular in that it falsely purported to
show that the cash on hand at the end of
the said week was £67,276.36 when the true
figure was a lesser amount (Contrary to
Section 17 (1) (a) of the Theft Act_1968)
The Defendant accepted other offences which were taken into account by the Court
when passing Sentence.
The Defendant did not hand over any of the monies stolen by way of compensation.
A Confiscation Hearing has been listed for week commencing 8" May on the basis
that it will not be needed if the Defendant pays the outstanding amount in the
meantime.
The prosecution are to provide a statement by the 12 April 2006 and the Defence
ate to respond by the 3% May 2006.
