As previously explained a sub postmaster is paid a remuneration to provide a contract for
services.
On 29 January 2013 Human Resources were contacted via e mail for the remuneration paid
to Birkenshaw Post Office branch. On the same day a return e mail was received showing the
remuneration paid for the period of 1 July 2008 to 29 February 2011. On the information
sheet PP/YYYY refers to the accounting period and the year, therefore 04/2008 is July 2008
as July is the four period of the accounting year and 04 does not denote the month of the
year (ie April) and £3697.24 was paid in remuneration. The last entry 12/2010 refers to
March 2011 and £190 was paid in remuneration.
The last full month that Mr SHAQ was paid remuneration was for period 10/2010 (January
2011) and he received £3542.38.
