Audit shortage at Ibstock Post Office on 20" August 2008
I write regarding your interview on the above date, in connection with the audit
shortage at Ibstock Post Office©. We are now in receipt of all your requested
bank statements for which you gave authority to release. With regard to the
date which you alleged to have started using Post Office© money, I would like
to put further questions to you, regarding the events prior to that date.
Therefore, I would like to invite you to voluntarily attend an interview, so that
you have the opportunity to answer the questions put to you. As before, the
interview will be conducted under caution and in accordance with The Police
and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. During the interview you will be offered the
opportunity to have legal representation and it may therefore be in your
interest, if you so wish, to seek legal advice prior to attending the interview.
1 have made provisional arrangements for this interview to take place at
Coalville Police Station and ask you to please contact me, as soon as possible,
so that a mutually agreeable date can be arranged for this interview to take
place.
