The Financial Investigation has now been concluded.
On 19 November 2007, at Winchester Crown Court, a compensation order
was made for the outstanding £36,644.89 and an additional £1,000 in costs
payable to POLTD. by sentencing date of 25" January 2008.
Juliet McFarlane (Royal Mail Group LTD. Principle Lawyer) confirmed that
this money has now been lodged with them through the defendant’s
solicitors and as such there will be no further action in respect of this case by
the Financial Investigation Unit.
