lam accredited by the Assets Recovery Agency as a Financial Investigator. I
currently have conduct of a confiscation Investigation in order recover assets
under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. The brief circumstances of the case
are that Mrs Janet Louise Skinner was the subpostmaster at North
Bransholme Post Office® branch Hull. An audit at the branch revealed a
shortage of approx £59,000, following which Miss Skinner was interviewed by
Investigators from this department. During the interview she admitted
falsifying accounting documents by inflating the cash on hand figure at the
Branch. Miss Skinner is currently being prosecuted in respect of these events.
