Hi both,

included in the cover note that we had more information in respect of the ‘whistleblower’ that I could provide if at all
useful. No request for such information has come back as yet.

J imagine they will supply the lines as they are, and if BNR then raises further questions ~ it will be at that point that they
request further information.

Hi - Mark and I discussed that, and also adding a bit more about the “whistleblower’s” lack of creditability.

We weren't too sure how ShEx wanted to play it (e.g. keep it minimal and close it down, or give more which could lead
to further argument). We therefore decided to make the points in the cover email for ShEx to use as best fits their
purpose.

Mark ~ is that right?

I don’t if this has gone back yet, but is it worth making the point about SS expanding he definition of what they mean by
‘systemic fault’, and pointing to the actual quote (page reference) that says nothing wrong with Horizon?

Yesterday I received a call and the below email from Shex. Apparently Mr Bridgen has written to BNR stating he watched
Panorama and has concerns over the two points detailed in the below note from Tim,

Are you happy with lines I have drafted to go back to Tim with? I said I would respond this morning.

Mark,

Further to our conversation please see below the two points we discussed. Your lines on each of these would be
appreciated.

(1) The Fujitsu whistle blower stating that transactions could be remotely manipulated.

(2) Second Sight contradicting the “version of the Second Sight report that the Post Office has presenting to Ministers,
MPs and the media”.

Happy to discuss if that would be useful.

Cheers,

Tim
