BBC WM suggests that all 150 applicants have been charged with theft or false accounting. it also
references a suicide. Julian wilson is interviewed he goes on to suggest that there are a lot more cases
out there, saying over 600 postmasters have contacted the scheme, and that more would come forward if
they weren’t so scared of how PO would react! He also suggested that customers may have been impacted
in that Post Office Card Account transactions might have been affected.
