I have inserted the figures from the CK document into paragraph 5 of the draft letter (attached) which, as far as I am
concerned, is now ready to go.
I would counsel against sending the CK document to the CCRC — as I said to you on the phone, it feels a bit like
inviting the police into your living room!
Can you let me have a copy of the final letter once it gets sent.

As requested please find attached draft letter to be sent by Chris to the CCRC.
I noticed from the email trail below that Mrs Berlin wrote to Amanda on 16 May 2014 so that explains why this letter is
necessary. It also shows that the initial letter I drafted was not sent by POL last October.
Please note that the letter needs some figures from you/CK. I hope they will be easy to get and insert.
I think it is likely that the CCRC will want to see a copy of Brian Altman's report. I don't think there is anything in it
which is damaging to POL but obviously if POL decides to disclose it to the CCRC it needs to maintain privilege. Can I
suggest that if a request is made to see the report you have another word with me at that time.

and whether any potentially unsafe convictions are likely to be brought to or attention, however,
the letter was returned marked ‘addressee has gone away’. Has Susan moved on from her role at the

update me)?
