Please see attached from Second Sight. We have 48 hrs for an initial response although it would appear that we will
also have another opportunity to ‘make representations’. I am sure that we would want to also make representations
but it would be helpful if we could knock off as many factual points as we can at the first stage. I have not yet checked
whether this is significantly different to the earlier draft I circulated but wanted to give you an opportunity to see it as
early as possible.
The report covers a lot of areas, many of which we have already commented on. Angela and Andy Parsons have
already got a lot of the information we require on some of the technical issues and Andy Parsons is pulling together
the response which we will all have an opportunity to clear. I will also consider with others here about the best way
to actually position our response.
You will also see that this document has been sent to JFSA simultaneously. Although it is unlikely that JFSA would
pass this outside of the Working Group we must have our response ready as soon as possible in case it is needed.
