Subject: Response to Part Two
Attachment: 150313 Response to Second Sight Part 2 report of 11 March 2015 .docx
Hi Andy,
I have been working my way through SS’s Part Two report and have, using the previous PO Reply, created a new
document (attached). 90% of the previous reply still stands as Second Sight are still making the same points. Thus, I
think it is just a case of complementing the previous Reply with additional statements to address any new points /
assertions made.
I am up to section 15.
Ihave :
© Updated the introductory blurb
Created a section in the Reply for each section included in their report. Some of these may not be necessary,
but for completeness (in the first instance at least) I thought it would be easier to follow if each section in
their report had a dedicated section in our Reply.
o Where possible and drawing from other docs (Scheme report, Select Committee response, dossier etc)
I have added and amended text where appropriate
o Where I do not have the technical expertise / knowledge, I have left comments to indicate what
additional paragraphs we need to formulate new lines for. Where indicated, I will chase the relevant
people at PO and ask Angela — but could Bond Dickinson provide draft the responses to the additional
paragraphs as indicated or where you deem necessary?
Does that makes sense? I will continue to work my way through but given the deadlines (Friday) I thought it better to
share now. Happy to talk through.
Rather unhelpfully, I have not tracked my changes up to section 15 — so you may wish to run a comparison from the
original reply and this version (sorry). I will however track and further changes and share with you at the end of each
day.
Mark
