Hello Jarnail,
I appreciated the opportunity to meet with both Martin and yourself this morning, it was very informative and will assist
me in my deliberations in this matter.
In view of the fact that Mr McCartan mentioned Horizon after the interview was terminated it is clear he will raise it in his
defence. While I do feel that the appropriate prosecution charge would be Fraud by False Representation, as the expert
engaged by the Post Office in relation to the provision of a report is imminent, I feel we should delay submission to the
PPS until same is available.
Please advise when the report has been received, in the interim I will update the PPS Deputy Director.
