» The Speak Up team delivered an 'in-person' presentation to the Branch Assurance team and manned a stand at the NFSP Postmaster Conference in May; both of which
» May has seen a 57% increase in matters reported since April; with postmaster's being the subject of the report in half of these matters. 36% (4) of all matters reported in
May were reported by postmasters, which may have been because of the Speak Up awareness promotion at the NFSP Postmaster Conference, and /
or promotional posters which were distributed to all branches through April.
> There are currently 18 open matters, with police investigations being supported in another two cases which were developed and reported by the team. In addition, the
team are supporting six other police investigations that have been reported by the branch / postmaster.
> Aquarter of currently open matters relate to Conduct, Ethics Violation and Culture issues, which is down to the uplift over the last few months in reporting by POL
employees.
> High volumes of reports received into triage for review and consideration are still being seen, with 18 received in May, and 14 closed and referred on.
