An additional thought from me. If JA does make the accusation that there have been or are likely to be cases of
wrongful conviction or missacarriages of justice, can I suggest that JS immediately pick him up on this with the
following lines or similar:
e =I feel I must speak at this stage
e The Honourable Member is making some very serious allegations indeed
e I would say to him, as a matter of public record, that if he is in possession, or aware of the existence of, any
evidence to support those allegations, he should immediately disclose this to the police
