To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, what assessment
he has made of the adequacy of the Post Office sub-postmaster mediation scheme;
and if he will make a statement. (3258)
Draft Answer
Post Office Limited’s Complaint Review and Mediation Scheme was set up in 2013 to
consider cases from current and former subpostmasters relating to the Post Office
Horizon IT system. This is an operational matter for Post Office Limited and the Scheme
has been set up to be independent of Government.
