Aren’t you picking up the point on whether Kelly can go to the Board meeting as well?
Otherwise fine — points 1, 2, 3 dealt with as follows:
1. Richard — can you follow up with Ben Foat (including drafting a protocol)?
2. Richard is sending an email to Ben Foat and HSF to fix a meeting among the lawyers first. I’ve also
spoken to Al and HSF about it already.
3. Richard and I have discussed who it should be. We’ve got some options which I think we should get
input on from Alex Chisholm. Planning to email Alex next week on it most likely.

Taking upstairs off the chain. Just wanted to confirm that we’ll pick up the two highlighted actions. We’ve been in
touch with the ARAC Secretariat and they are on standby to arrange a meeting with Nigel, so will now put them in
touch with POL to arrange this.
On the information sharing protocol, Stephen has already kindly shared the latest draft Framework Doc, so we'll have
a look at how to cover the ask around information sharing and come back to you.
I think the other actions look like a POL/PO/UKGI lead, but let us know if we can help.

Please see below a list actions agreed during yesterday’s discussion:
* Kelly and POL agreed that the CWU data on NMW should be shared with the BEIS Labour Markets
team for awareness.
* POL agreed to present Kelly with the details of their strategy. This included details on the scenarios as
to how the litigation will play out and how it could be settled, the potential costs of the litigation.
+ POL seemed open to having another Government representative joining the POL litigation
subcommittee and Richard Watson from UKGI was suggested. :

+ Kelly agreed to try and come along to the board meeting on 30-31 July, however the date is during
summer recess so she will have to make a decision on whether to attend.
+ Al agreed to send over the total cost of the litigation so far which we have already received.
