Ms Constance MSP,
I am writing on behalf of the National Federation of SubPostmasters (the NFSP), who represent the views
of the owners and operators of 8,500 post offices throughout the UK.
The NFSP has been pushing for all victims of the Horizon scandal to achieve justice and receive the
compensation due to them as quickly as the legal and justice system can allow. For this reason, our CEO,
Calum Greenhow, met with the Justice Minister and Attorney General for Northern Ireland yesterday, 18
April 2024, to discuss the legal process for NI.
As you are aware, the Post Office (Horizon Offences) Bill is currently being heard in Parliament. Therefore,
the NFSP is keen to understand the situation and timelines for Scottish victims. With this in mind, I’d like to
request a meeting with yourself, our CEO, the Non-Executive Officer for Scotland and myself. If this suits,
please offer a date convenient to you.
Regards,
Ruth
