Thanks for this. I attach some suggested amendments in manuscript. We have also inserted some wording covering
the “ fairness” point on pages 4-5. Christa has been out of the office today as she is travelling for the rest of the wee
so she has not been able to make specific comments on the slides.
We had one general comment as to presentation. The slides are currently presented as a summary of our
paper. While in some respects that is the case, we think the slides should be presented as your/ the executive’ s
work. While we are happy for the slides and/or any covering communication to say they draw from our paper, we are
less comfortable with them simply being presented as a summary of our work. We are not qualified/ in a position to
advise holistically on the next steps and recommendations for dealing with the scheme; it seems to us our advice is
and should only be one of several sources of input for coming up with next steps and recommendations (e.g. the PR,
commercial and political issues are not, aside form their interaction with legal issues, things on which we can sensibly
advise). In particular and in any event, the mitigation column in the risk table doesn’ t appear to have come from our
paper (or at least not directly from it).
Do let me know if you have any questions about our comments on the slides or the point above.
Many thanks
Jonathan
