Hello All,

This is a commission for the BEIS Hot Topics Pack.

Deadline: 11am Friday 17" March. Please note this is a hard deadline from SoS PO. We must have returns for COP
Thursday, including nil returns.

**IMPORTANT NOTE**

The pack will be used by Ministers for Parliamentary business. As such, the lines need to be short and to the point.
Ministers need lines which are suitable for being read aloud.

Each Topic must be a maximum of 1 page. There is no flex on this. All existing topics running to more than 1 page
need to be cut down to 1. Lines to take should be brief (1 line long) and there should only be a handful of points per
page.

Please do not respond to this request seeking additional space — it will not be granted.

JESSE

Please find attached a copy of the latest BEIS Topics Pack, to be updated. Please respond with your briefing, or nil
return, to myself.

The contents of the pack and officials responsible are:
