Reset Stock Unit AA back to TP8 BP1 for FAD

An error occurred during the rollover of Stock unit AA from TP8 BP1 to TP8 BP2, and as a result all
figures on the balance report were set to zero, On the subsequent rollover to BP3 there was a gain of over
£20000. Stock Unit AA needs to be reset back to BP1 so that it can be re-rolled into BP2 with the correct
figures.
Justification: The branch currently has a gain of £20000 due to the error which occurred during rollover
to TP8 BP2. This can be resolved by resetting the stock unit back to TP8 BP1. The PM can then re-
rollover into BP2 and the figures should be calculated correctly.
When: Planned for 24/11/2005 15:00
Extra detail: Stock Unit AA is currently in TP8 BP4, and has a gain of £20000 due to the error during
rollover into BP2. The stock unit can be reset back to TP8 BP 1 so that the PM can re-roll into BP2. The
error may have been caused by a temporary network problem and is being looked at by the development
team. It is unlikely that the same error would occur again during the rollover.
If the stock unit is reset, the PM would then need to rollover 3 weeks worth of transactions into BP2. (The
transactions themselves would not have to be re-entered).
We will update the StockUnit and StockUnitMarker objects for AA, removing references to BP2, BP3 and
BP4. The BPMarker objects themselves will also be deleted.
Business risks:
If this action is not taken, the Branch Trading Statement due on 30/11/05 will contain incorrect figures.
Rolling over Stock Unit AA into BP2 again is likely to take longer than usual as there will be 3 weeks
worth of transactions rather than 1 week.
Regression: Reinstate the StockUnit, StockUnitMarker and BPMarker objects as they are now..

the PM is on holiday - this will be done when when she returns next week.
