At Fazakerley Post Office branch 404 Longmoor Lane Liverpool L9 9DB
accompanied by Kevin Ryan Security Manager we spoke to Anne Nield and
Angela Sefton Clerks at the branch.

An audit was taking place in response to a telephone call received from Anne
Nield on 5 January 2012.

At 09.12 Anne Nield handed me a letter that had been prepared jointly by both
Anne and Angela. In the letter they state that they had been suppressing Giro
deposits from a business customer.

Anne Nield and Angela Sefton were invited to attend a voluntary interview
under caution and asked to agree to a voluntary search of their home
addresses. They both agreed to attend an interview and undergo a search of
their home addresses and any vehicle they may own.

Their legal rights were explained and they contacted their solicitor.

They were asked were the missing Giro deposit slips where and stated they
where in a cupboard in the counter area.

A total of 40 deposit slips with a number of cheque envelopes were recovered.

Nothing else was discussed.
