Subject; Miss Janet Louise Skinner

Juliet

As discussed yesterday I have finally got around to examining Miss Skinners Bank statements, As I
result of this I have forwarded the following E mails to HBoS tor further enquiry

E mail 10 May p07. dot mail 11 May 2007.dor

I feel that for the effective conduct of the investigation these enquiries need to be undertaken, however
Jart not confident that they will reveal futher assels. As such I am of the view that we should go a
head and get aIConliscation Order on the 25 May 2007, as long as if necessary we can revisit the
Confiscation Order in accordance with Section 22 of the POCA 2002, Order made: reconsideration of
available amount, it my enquiries do reveal significant further assets. Can you advise if this course of
action can be flowed

Secondly, a cash payments were made into Miss Skinner's accounts as detailed below, (a note of
caution the £14isk payment is detailed as a cash payment but it may not be as a Cheque was issued
following a loanifor £14.5K at the same time, enquires into this matter are ongoing with the loan
provider Kensington Mortgages Ltd)

You can see that after Miss Skinner was interviewed by Diane Matthews on the 1st Jun 06, she paid
quite an amount of cash into her accounts. There is no directly corresponding cash withdrawals from
the other account to explain the deposits and I suspect that these are deposits of stolen money.
However Miss Skinner generally withdraws a (ot of cash in smaller amounts from the accounts overall
and am sure that she would explain the deposit by saying that she had saved the money over a period
of time or somelother lame explanation. In the circumstances t feel that this matter should not be
pursued as our fesources could be better spent on more pressing matters, Do you agree?
