POST OFFICE LTD -v- OYETEJU ADEDAYO
CASE POLTD/0506/0336

The above named Defendant appeared at Chatham Magistrates Court
on 19 January 2006. The Defendant pleaded guilty to the three
charges before the Court and accepted the further offences set
out on the Schedule of TIC’s. Jurisdiction was declined, on the
basis that the Court sentencing powers were insufficient. The
Defendant’s next appearance will be at Maidstone Crown Court on
a date to be notified. The Defence were put on notice that
there would be an application in the Crown Court for
compensation.

Natasha Bernard should attend the sentencing hearing. As soon
as we are advised of the date of that hearing, Natasha will be
informed.
