Dear Mr. Wilson
Post Office Ltd v. A. Henderson - Norwich Crown Court —3 November 2010 at 9.30am
Further to my letter of 12 August, the defendant duly appeared today and was committed for trial
under s.6(2) Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980 with unconditional bail renewed. She is to appear at
Norwich Crown Court on 3 November 2010 at 9.30am for a plea and case management hearing
(a not guilty plea having been indicated).
As usual, I shall be pleased to arrange for attendance upon counsel at that and at any later
hearings at the Crown Court.
At the hearing today the clerk of the court said that he had no copy of our witness statements,
although he did have a copy of the exhibits which he had apparently received from you. I
therefore gave him my copy of the witness statements and the confidential witness list. I should
therefore be most grateful if you were able to let me a further copy of each of these items for my
file. It may be that they will form part of Counsel’s instructions, which you usually copy to me
anyway.
lenclose a copy of the standard directions issued at Norwich.
Finally, as proceedings in the magistrates’ court have concluded, I enclose my account to date
for your kind attention in due course.
XQUES. SID CALAN. eerie
