Ihave been employed by Post Office Ltd since 1986. My current role is Network Field Support Advisor which I have held since 2007 and my

duties include auditing Post Office branches. The purpose of this role is to verify the assets held at a Post Office branch are correct and the

transactions are performed to the required specification to ensure the security of the Post Office, its customers and its clients and report the

result of the audit.

(On Friday 6" January 2012 I arrived at Fazakerley Post Office 3 Longmoor Lane Liverpool L9 SDB at approximately 08:15 am accompanied by

my colleague Richard CROSS.

The visit was as a result of a special request from Post Office Ltd Security team to conduct an audit of the cash and stock held at the branch.

I introduced myself and Richard CROSS to a member of staff, I do not recall her name but I recognised her from a previous visit and I explained

the purpose of our visit to the branch was to conduct an audit and verify financial assets due to Post Office Ltd and she allowed us access to

the secure area

The other member of staff arrived at approximately 08:45 am and I again explained the purpose of our visit.

They both informed me that they knew why the audit was taking place and stated they were sorry for causing us problems and sorry for

misleading us at previous audits.

At approximately 09:15 Stephen BRADSHAW and Kevin RYAN of Post Office Ltd's Security Team arrived at the branch.

A series of reports from the Horizon system were printed to ascertain the cash and stock holdings that should be on hand at Fazakerley Post
Office branch in order to complete the audit.

I completed the audit and the result of the audit was a surplus of £559.07 on the day. A breakdown of the audit result and details of the audit

findings are as follows:

Identified as a surplus in cash figures +£457.01
Identified as a surplus in stock figures +f 97.95
Identified as a surplus discrepancy as per office snapshot +E 4.21
Total Surplus on day of audit +£559.07

have produced a report detailing the findings at Fazakerley Post Office branch and I now produce this report as TGP/1.

At approximately 11:00 am I was asked by Stephen BRADSHAW, Security Manager if we could check the secure area for Giro deposit slips.

After looking we could not locate any paperwork and Stephen BRADSHAW and Kevin RYAN returned to the secure area with a member of staff

who located the paperwork and handed them over to the Security Managers.

When the members of staff were leaving with the Security Team, they again apologised and said they were sorry for all they had done and that

they felt terrible.

The reports printed off the Horizon system together with Branch Trading Statements have been passed to Post Office Ltd Security Team.

I am willing to attend court if required.
