Telephoned the Officer Robert Daily. Discussed the question of the appropriate
charge in this case. Robert Daily could not really shed any light as to why Counsel
felt the charge of false accounting rather than theft is more appropriate save that he
felt that we would need an expert to prove or disprove what was in the expert report.
Counsel did however appreciate that we had not received all the documentation
referred to by their expert. Thus we are not in a position to examine what is being
put forward.
Robert states that he intends to speak to the Financial Investigator about the
possibility of their being monies in the Defendant's pension and which account it is
being paid into.
