I enclose herewith Notice of Additional Evidence consisting of statements from Raj Kalsi and Hugh
Richard Stacey together with copies of the exhibits produced., These statements are served on you
under the provisions of Section 9 of the Criminal Justice Act 1967.

I confirm that I have served copies of the above statements on the Chief Clerk of Stafford Crown Court

In responding to your facsimile of 29 November 2004, for ease of reference I shall use the same
paragraph numbering:-

1 Raj Kalsi deals with the ordering of currency by an on demand post office at Page 12 of his
statement. He produces a blank copy of the form P5056 used to place an order as his Exhibit
RK/02 (Page 187 of the Exhibit Bundle). Laurence George Hutchins also deals with the three
methods of ordering currency (Pages 26 to 27 of the Witness Bundle). He produces a further
copy of Form P5056 as his Exhibit LGH/01 (Page 195 of the Exhibit Bundle).

2 Laurence George Hutchins deals with the fact that a foreign currency advice note is placed
within the pouch which is dispatched to the post office outlet. He produces a sample of a
currency advice note as his Exhibit LGH/02 (Page 195 of the Exhibit Bundle). No currency
) advice notes were found during the search of the post office. As the only copy printed is
dispatched to the post office, I am not in a position to provide you with the requested copies. I
‘would however refer you to the list detailing all currency types sent to Rugeley MSPO between
3 January 2002 to 1 January 2004 which was enclosed with my letter of 7 October 2004,

3 The Bureau de Change Operations Manual (Version 2, September 2002) is produced by Raj
Kalsi as his Exhibit RK/01 (Pages 5 to 122 of the Exhibit Bundle) and the Version 1, January
1998 is produced as his Exhibit RK/01a (Pages 123 to 186 of the Exhibit Bundle). The additional
statement of Raj Kalsi enclosed with this letter clarifies, as far as we are able to do so, the date
at which the September 2002 version would have become effective.
