Andy—sorry for delayed reply this was my laptop being updated. I have spoken with Andrew Bolc. in view of
defendants admissions to offer and accept piea to false accounting I understand from Andrew this may at some stage
be considered by the defence.
What are your lawyers views and thoughts?

Taunton Crown Court Date of Trial 13th August 2012
Dear Andy,
this case is heading towards trial on the above date. The POL investigator has queried and Iam
concerned as to whether the forthcoming review into Horizon by 2nd Sight will have any bearing on
this case. I anticipate that our Prosecution Counsel will be raising the same query soon. In this case
the defence report is critical of the audit trial produced by the Horizon system and I am conscious
that this has been one of the issues levelled against the system in the past. The defence case statement
directly puts POL to proof regarding the accuracy of the calculated losses and the accuracy of the
Horizon system.
