Quick update, we had a meeting with Paula yesterday and she seemed optimistic that JA would agree that the report
would focus on the key themes. We will pick up the MPs cases individually with each MP.
She has a meeting with JA on Monday. Would it be possible for you to complete the matrix and have the key themes
identified by this Friday?
On a secondary point my replacement has been identified as Andy Holt, who is a peer of mine and an good choice.
He will be taking over from me in mid-August. We also agreed yesterday that we would make available a senior &
experienced person from network to work with you on a day to day basis — we are still debating who, but should have
aname within a day or two.
