Text Description of £2751 cash in pouches since September 2004 - rem slips located,
Incident and confirmed as received. Also £375 as vouchers - unable to
(Enter brief details) identify exact date of entry, or what exactly it was for, but believed
to be for obsolete MVL stamps and phonecards. Neither amount
could be removed from suspense.Cash shortage £35426.58, value
stock shortage £519.21, volume stock shortage £640.15, and
foreign currency £2.82 over. Upon balancing, the Horizon system
threw up an additional shortage of £61.77 which is not reflected on
the P32. A volume stock outward rem was identified as the probable
cause, but no paperwork could be located to support it, and upon
system interrogation, it failed. actual shortage put to late accounts
£36644.89
