I am employed as an Investigator by Royal Mail group (Formally known as the Post Office and
Consignia). I have worked for Royal Mail Group for 28 years and I am currently employed by Post Office
Ltd, at Liverpool Mail Centre Copperas Hill Liverpool L3 1AA. My duties include making enquiries into
crimes and suspected crimes committed against Post Office Ltd.
On 13" October 2005, I was present with Diane Sarah Matthews while Hughie Noel Thomas, the sub
postmaster from Gaerwen Post Office Branch was interviewed at Holyhead Police Station. His solicitor
Mr Williams of Messrs Tudur Owen Roberts Glynne and Co accompanied Mr Thomas. The interview was
tape-recorded and commenced at 1952 hours and ended at 2036 hours. The master tape seal 37924 was
sealed in my presence.
