The case has been passed to Angus Crawford as has several Post Office cases.
Thad a meeting about another case on Wednesday and he mentioned he was looking at Rasul’s case.
He phoned me today to ask about Horizon and we had a long useful discussion about it. I can discuss this with you later.
The upshot is it looks as if it will be penned.

1 Bank warrants to get statements to show accused's pay account traffic
2 Copies of the statements that the accused gave when spoken to as a witness and a full explanation of his status at the
time.
3 Any other financial enquiries the FIU deem necessary for building their financial profile- may overlap with 1 above
4 Details about what the pay in locations were for Rasul's accounts if available
From the Post Office
1 Work rotas/staffing lists to show that the accused works at the locus alone much of the time and was working on the
dates of the suspicious transactions (and hopefully working alone)
2 An explanatory statement about the proper procedures for replacement cards. This is specifically to include the role of
the PIN in this process and to address whether a card with a damaged chip can have its PIN read for issuing the
replacement card or whether the PIN is stored off the card.
3 An explanatory statement about whether cards can be swiped instead of the PIN being entered and when that can
happen (including whether 3 wrong PIN entries then swiping the card is possible or representative of good practice).
4 The final Post Office report on whether or not the Horizon system is reliable
5 Any other statement Robert Daily wants to make about how the earlier two charges were committed
