Hi Simon

Hope you are keeping well, its been a while. It took the PPS a year to make a direction on the above case! Iam nowina
position to inform you that the Trial of Patricia Fegan is set for 24/01/17 and in their usual fashion the PPS have today
requested a list of queries to be answered by next week.

The last time I spoke to you, you were not able to supply us with a report re the glitches in the ‘Horizon system’ as a
second review of the system was being carried out. Are you in a position now to supply any kind of report re this? Can
you also confirm if any other cases of discrepancies in the Drumintee branch were reported before 2014? Lastly what
are the Post Office’s view on this investigation? The PPS are confused why Damien McGennity had to and did pay the
shortfall if this was reported as a theft by his staff.

Sorry I couldn’t have brought this to your attention beforehand but I received the PPS’s email today @

Kind Regards

Mandy Campbell
