Re: Peter Anthony Holmes - Listed for Trial - 14 December 2009

Further to your letter dated 8 October 2009 in which you request sight of the daily takings records
from Mrs Holmes’ business.
We have now received the information requested from our client and enclose copies of the till
receipts for the period of 1 August 2007 to 19 September 2008 being the period of the
indictment.
As you can see the receipts show some £135,000.00 in cash being taken by the business which is
in accordance with the figures supplied by the accountant and as such you have to concede that
the money going through our client's account is legitimate.
We would be grateful if you could now confirm if you are to proceed with the allegation of theft i
and if so how you intend to put your case. i
In light of the fast approaching trial date we would appreciate an expedited response.
